Lord Kapila to mother Devahuti, "By association with pure devotees, one's ears and heart become completely satisfied while hearing krishna-katha. This higher taste enables one to gradually become attracted to Me in full faith and devotion. Due to this attraction, the devotee gains a distaste for mundane sense gratification, and by becoming fixed in devotional service, he can achieve My association in this very life."

The question is how to become a pure devotee ?? Because we are in such a world where no body claims to be a pure devotee.
If we know some pure devotees like Prabhupad and GoSwamis how can we associate with them ??? The reason I am asking this is I personally am lacking in SadhuSang.
Please enlighten me....

The best devotees to associate with are the scriptures, acharyas, goswamis and Srila Prabhupada in vani. Associate with living devotees to get inspiration to follow the teachings of pure devotees. While associating please use discrimination.Avoid those who are not inspiring you to follow pure devotees.
