Srimad Bhagavatam Analogy - 42

When the great sages consulted one another, they saw that the people were in a dangerous position from both directions. When a fire blazes on both ends of a log, the ants in the middle are in a very dangerous situation. Similarly, at that time the people in general were in a dangerous position due to an irresponsible king on one side and thieves and rogues on the other.

Srimad Bhagavatam - Canto 4 Chapter 14 Verse 8

Prabhuji,

Please accept my humble obiesances. All glories to Srila Prabhupaad. If you are trying use this verse from the Srimad Bhaagwatam as an analogy to the current situation in the world, particularly in India, then I'd agree 100%. On the one hand, we've had total thugs as rulers and on the ohter hand, there have been real thugs and the masses have ben caught in the middle. So, the analogy fits pefectly, if you are trying to say exactly that. If your point is diferent, please share it accordingly.

Hare Krishna.
