Pearls of Wisdom - 20

"Feelings of separation are due to illusory affection and nothing else, and thus you should give up your anxiety, which is due to ignorance of the eternal self. You are simply thinking, 'How will these poor helpless creatures continue to exist without me?' One's gross material body is under control of kala (time), karma and three gunas (modes of material nature). Since it is already in the jaws of serpent so to speak: how can it give protection to others?"

Srimad Bhagavatam Analogy - 13

"My dear King, there is no cause for lamentation, for everyone is under the control of Supreme Lord. It is He alone who brings persons together and then disperses them, like a player who arranges and re-arranges his playthings."

"One who leaves home secretly and then gives up his body in an unknown and remote place, undisturbed by material conditions, is called "dhira"(sober). Better still is the "narottama", or best among men, who after realizing the falsity and misery of material existence, leaves home so that he can fully depend upon the Supreme Lord, Who is residing within his heart.

SB Analogy - 10

"This child will maintain the praja exactly like Ikshavaku; he will be true to his promise just like Lord Rama; and he will be a munificent giver of charity and protector of the surrendered like Shibi. He will be as great a bowman as Arjuna, and as strong as a lion. He will be forbearing like the earth, and as worthy a shelter as the Himalayas. Pearls of Wisdom - 18

These simple women thought of Krishna as their beloved husband, and since He never seemed to leave their sides, they considered Him to be dominated by them. Actually, however, they were unaware of the extent of Lord Krishna's glories. Al though their beautiful smiles and glances were exciting enough to conquer Cupid, they could never agitate the senses of the Lord, for He was unattached to them. This is the divinity of the Supreme Lord - He is not affected by the qualities of the material nature, even though He may be in contact with them. Similarly, the devotees who have taken shelter of the Lord do not become influence by the modes of material nature.

Srimad Bhagavatam Analaogy - 7

Upon arriving at Dvaraka's outskirts, Lord Krishna sounded His conch shell, the Panchajany, to herald His arrival. The pure white conch shell appeared to become reddened by the touch of Krishna's lips so that it seemed like a white swan was playing in the stems of red lotus flowers.

Pearls of Wisdom - 17

Arjuna held a jewel-handled umbrella over Krishna's head while Uddhava and Satyaki fanned Him. The brahmanas uttered their benedictions and the ladies on the palace roof discussed among themselves about the great fortune of Krishna's wives at Dvaraka and the gopis of Vrindavana. This talk of the transcendental pastimes of the Lord was more attractive than the hymns of the Vedas.

As he prepared to quit his body, Bhishma prayed, "Let me now invest my thinking, feeling and willing, which were for so long engaged in different subjects, unto the all powerful Lord Sri Krishna. The Supreme Lord is equal to everyone , and yet, since I am His unflinching servitor, He has graciously appeared before me now at the time.
